THE EXPERIENCE THAT BROUGHT ME BACK HOME

My breaking point

 

After 21 years of service, including deployments to Iraq and Kosovo, I found myself drowning in stress and emotional pain. The demands of my career as a Blackhawk Helicopter pilot and Federal Air Marshal left me physically and mentally depleted.

 

My breaking point came during a routine training exercise, where I experienced a full-blown panic attack. In that moment, I realized I had lost touch with who I was beneath the uniform.

I wasn’t alone in this struggle

 

Many veterans and first responders face the same challenges. This realization pushed me to seek healing, and I found my path through yoga, mindfulness, and neuroscience.

 

Now, I'm dedicated to helping others navigate their own journeys, reconnect with themselves, and finally come 'Back Home' mentally and emotionally.

My Immersive Adventure (IA) method

 IA is specifically designed for Military Veterans and First Responders and is centered around finding solutions that are specific to our community. There are three main phases to the IA way of winning the war on stress and energizing your life while immersed in an amazing outdoor adventure.

Get to Know the Real You

This phase is all about getting real with yourself. You’ll dig into how your mind and body actually work, especially when they’re under pressure. By the end, you’ll have a clear picture of what’s driving your stress and where you need to make changes.

Take Control of Your Life

Here’s where the rubber meets the road. You’ll take what you’ve learned and start making real changes. It’s about swapping knee-jerk reactions for deliberate decisions. You’ll learn practical strategies to handle whatever life throws at you—cool, calm, and in control.

Keep Expanding Your Horizons

This phase emphasizes steady, confident growth. You’ll build on the successes you’ve achieved, making sure that your progress is lasting and that you continue to expand your capabilities with assurance.
